Anthracite

Right now anthracite is no longer mined in Poland but we have big reserves of this fuel from years when near Wałbrzych still has been active anthracite mine. This coal is formed under big pressure and high temperature, its shiny surface makes it easy to distinguish form other fuels. Anthracite is the most calorific kind of coal. It consists almost of 97% of carbon. It combusts very slow and generates a lot of heat, that makes it perfect fuel to use in houses and other work places.

Anthracite is perfect conductor of electricity so it is used to produce electrodes and also in chemical industry as a paint component or rubber industry.
